Hi, I'm Vaughan.

Welcome to my corner of the web! Life’s a mix for me. Business? I’ve started some, grown them, and even handed them off. I’m also deep into things like electrical engineering and web development. Outside of that, I’m out seeking adventures, always learning something new, or hitting the road on my bike. Feel free to explore more about what I’m up to!

I am a Businessman

Business for me is about passion and purpose. I’ve ignited ventures, nurtured them from the ground up, and sometimes, let them fly under new leadership. But beyond the transactions and strategies lies a deeper drive. It’s about carving out spaces where ideas flourish, where people come together with shared goals, and where we make a genuine difference. Every venture tells a story, every challenge offers growth, and every success is a shared celebration.

If you have any hopes, dreams, goals, ambitions or propositions, I’m all ears.
Lets pull up a chair and grab a coffee.

I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer

Back in ’98 (or thereabouts, who’s counting anyway?), I took a plunge into the world of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and came out the other side a certified electrician. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of diving into the intricacies of numerous properties and lighting up the days (quite literally!) of countless clients. While these days you’re more likely to find me immersed in web dev codes than tangled in wires, it’s always fun to reminisce about my journey as a qualified Electrical and Electronics Engineer. Hey, it’s all a part of the story!

I am a Web Developer

Back in the ’90s, while lumberjack shirts were all the rage, I stumbled into the world of HTML. It wasn’t the cool kid on the block then, but oh, how times have changed! Since then, I’ve dabbled in a mix of tech flavours – a bit of CSS here, a dash of Python there. Built so many websites, wrestled with databases, and occasionally shouted at servers (don’t judge!). From WordPress and Elementor Pro, to Joomla, Drupal, Magento, and even a touch of Concrete5, I’ve played with them all. It’s been one heck of a digital journey, and honestly? I wouldn’t swap it for all the lumberjack shirts in the world.

I am an Adventurer

Some people collect stamps, others coins; I’ve been collecting experiences across continents.

So, here’s the deal: I’ve been around. Traveled a bunch – U.S., Mexico, Europe and of course, the UK. Lived in a couple of cool spots too: North Wales, Chicago, Cyprus, and Dorset.

Snowdon? Yeah, we’re pretty much best buds. Been up and down that mountain more times than I can remember. Done a lot of climbing, abseiling and caving in that stomping ground too.  Tried out the longest zip-line in the world, checked out the views from the Sears Tower and the St. Louis Arch, and had a pretty wild ride in a hot air balloon over Somerset.

The water? coasteering at Dancing Ledge and kayaking around Old Harry Rocks. But the latest buzz? That’s paramotoring. When the skies aren’t my playground, the open roads are – with my trusty Triumph. It’s been a ride, my friend, a proper adventure.

I am a Student

So, the academic side of things? Started with an Electrical Engineering degree, ventured into business with a degree in Business Owner Management, and now I’m piecing together the digital world with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with The OU.

Languages have always been part of my life’s tapestry. Fluent in Welsh and English, with a unique ability in tactile finger spelling – a language of touch I shared with my deaf-blind grandparents. And yep, I can get by in Spanish too.

Beyond the books and languages, I’ve been a perpetual student of life. Building, fixing, learning – it’s in my DNA. If there’s a challenge out there, odds are I’ve tackled it or I’m on my way. While it might sound like I’m tooting my own horn, it’s just the way it’s been. After all, when you’ve traversed as much ground as I have, you learn a thing or two.

I am a Biker

So, here’s a twist. I grew up cycling – you know, competitions, racing, that adrenaline on two wheels.  I used to win the annual 40 mile carnival bike race every year. Fast forward, and who would’ve thought? I geared up, tackled the motorbike tests head-on, and now I’m tearing up the roads on a Triumph Sprint ST 1050cc. From pedal power to horsepower, it’s a shift I never expected, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

“You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.”
